"I now have the three bag set of these. I started with two and then wanted the third (medium sized) one. I’ll likely use them for the rest of my life! I only have one comment about the design. The inside tie-down buckle has more length on one side than the other, so it’s hard to dig down and find the short side. No biggie, but weird design decision."

"I bought it a month ago for my birthday. I was looking for a wheeled upgrade to my large North Face Base Camp Duffel. I finally settled on this because it is one of the only rolling duffels that retains the straps for a backpack capability. Another plus is that Eagle Creek has a great military discount program. I am active duty Air Force and travel for work often. I have 4 deployments and 35 TDYs under my belt so I know a thing or two about a good travel bag. This bag so far has been great. The telescoping arms and wheels handle it packed to 40 pounds well. The tightening straps are great to loosen to fill the bag and zip it, then cinch it down. The top pocket it great for separating either dirty clothes or a pair of shoes, or both because of its spaciousness. The water resistant fabric that it’s made with is great and feels very strong and doesn’t seem to get scuffed too easy. I took this bag for a week as a checked bag and it flew well and had tons of room. Then I took it on a 2-week trip to upper Michigan with 3 pairs of shoes and plenty of workout and hiking clothes. All-in-all great bag for the active traveler. If you love the north face base camp duffel but want something a little easier than ONLY lugging it around on your back this is your bag, it won’t disappoint."

"Only used it for one trip so far but very happy. Very good looking, very well made and sturdy, rolls well on cobblestones. Just an all around excellent piece of luggage. Only complaints are that the framing does not lay flat so it's hard to stow under a hotel bed. And second is that there are some clips intended to snap across the top but they don't connect when the bag is full. But these are extremely minor. Would purchase again in a heartbeat."

- How can I store this bag? Does it squish down when empty?
- Hi Jenny, The Cargo Hauler XT is considered a piece of luggage and will have a hard bottom and telescoping trolley handle so it will store like luggage. We make the Cargo Hauler Wheeled Duffel (no XT) that is a fully soft sided duffel bag with wheels. This bag will pack down quite small into a storage bag. However, this will not have a telescoping handle and can be slightly more cumbersome to pull especially when not fully packed. The non XT version is designed for those that need something that will pack down for storage or be soft on all sides to accommodate certain adventures.
- Do the airlines ever charge extra for the 110 liter bag because of its size, assuming that it weighs less than 50 lbs?
- We did not encounter any additional fees for the size when we flew through Delta. Although it holds a lot, it surprisingly doesn’t look abnormally large. I’m not sure if other airlines have dimension restrictions though.
- Can you please post descriptions and photos of the ends? Does it have a shoe/laundry compartment in one end like sports duffel have?
- Hi JRE, While we don't have additional photos to provide of this section, we can provide some other information. This end compartment like a shoe/laundry compartment - just one large-ish open pocket. The zipper goes from one side to the other, so you can get great access to it. The dimensions of this end pocket for the Cargo Hauler XT 29" and 32" are approximately 16" x 13.75" x 4.75", but some of the space at the back is taken by the luggage handle tubes.
