Reviews

Had higher expectations

"Im not thrilled about the black marks all of the tan water resistant material from the airlines handling this bag. My mistake for thinking this bag was a good idea and wouldn't be confused with others at baggage claim. Also noticed that some of my clothes were damp after my 1st trip with this bag. Little concerned about future trips and the protection this bag provides to my checked luggage. Other than those issues, the bag has lots of room and is easy to find at baggage claim when the airline doesn't lose it."

Great bag for two week trip

"Bought two of these for a two week trip to Sweden and Norway. The Cargo Hauler had all the room we needed for 14 days worth of clothing. Very roomy, sturdy material and wheels, and even full fit within Euro airlines size and weight limits. The bags look great and the reinforcement metal bars by the wheels make it very easy to pack and unpack the bag. After six flights and connections through DeGaulle and Amsterdam, still look great and show now signs of wear. These bags look great and like they will last forever. Highly recommend this duffel."

Fit the Whole Family

"I recently used this bag on a weeklong cross country family vacation to the lake in SC over the 4th of July. Surprisingly, I was able to pack all 4 of us into this one bag. Very easy rolling through the airport as well as loading up the SUV. Great handles for carrying down steps too. Loved the side pocket - thru our still damp bathing suits in there for the way home!"

Bag great for the whole family

"We used this on a recent family trip. We put everyone's stuff in it with their own color coded pack-it which made it super easy. There is a huge side pocket that we added any extra items we had and the zipper pocket on the top was perfect for dirty cloths. It's easy to move, pack and carry with all the handles. Overall, great bag, that I'd highly recommend."

Eagle Creek’s bags just keep getting better!

"This is a fantastic piece of luggage. The ability to switch between a roller in airports, to a duffle when in transit or a backpack for hands-free travel was appreciated on my trip to Chile and Patagonia. The external shoe compartment was perfect for boots. The fabric appears resilient and durable. The weather resilient coating will be appreciated during future trips in poor conditions. This bag exceeded my expectations."

Cargo Hauler XT

"I love the space. I moved from Seattle to Sardinia in Italy and I use this to transport clothes and household goods back and forth. The wheels are a bit clunky when compared to my Briggs & Riley luggage— but the space inside of this piece of luggage is great. Hopefully it will stand up to the many trips I have planned."

Q&A

What about the locks on the zippers? How durable and what type of locking system is there?
The main compartment has dual zippers that both have built in lock rings, and the can be aligned and locked to the lid through a grommet on one end. Makes for very secure locking!
