This fit the bill- sternum strap, bright inside so I could find everything, minimal organization, pocket for passport close to my back, water bottle pocket and hip belt for my less than 5' frame. I will say, curse you LAX, for having me run across a whole terminal nearly missing my flight but thank you Eagle Creek for having a bag that allowed me to do it.
