Suitcase review Expanse 30" - 4 wheel suitcase

"I'll start with the fact that it is difficult to buy a suitcase without putting your hands on it. For this suitcase, the quality does not really match up to the item I replaced. It is much less rugged and not of the same materials of construction. I would expect more of a approx $400 suitcase. This suitcase was less cost than that, but I believe the offering was discounted. One specific complaint about the suitcase would be the compression tiedown strap. The strap does not come all the way up to to top level of the suitcase very easily and has very little potential for holding your items in the suitcase if the flap is pulled back while the suitcase is standing up or gets damaged by a carrier. Items would easily fall out. The suitcase needs a more substantial retension cover to retain the owners personal items in the suitcase. I Like the size and shape. It just looks and feels like a cheap suitcase. Hope this helps. I would like to say that the service team that I worked with was very helpful and responded very quickly. They were great !"

Quite large 30 inch

"I have to say that this 30 inch bag is huge. It is just under the max size for checked bags. I will only use this for domestic travel for hiking trips where I need to bring extra equipment. I would not take this on an international trip. It would be too hard for me to manage in Europe due to it's size. It is a nice bag, though."

I just LOVE IT! All

"I just LOVE IT! All my luggage has been Eagle Creek since 2005. This model is great! It is light-weight, so, when full, most of the weight comes from it contents! I can pack clothes, shoes and all my essentials for a two week trip without going over the airlines maximum luggage weight. The wheels are AMAZING!! Very easy to slide 360, no force needed. Furthermore! The NO MATTER WHAT warranty is real!! I have fixed older models at NO COST! Wheels, zippers, have been replaced, I still use the first one I purchase 20 yeas ago!!"

Best to Stay With Eagle Creek

"A friend encouraged me to buy a different brand before a trip to Europe. Beautiful and sturdy but TOO HEAVY. Switched back to this wonderful Eagle Creek bag. Missing a couple of features like extra pockets from my long-used other Eagle Creek. Has rotating wheels which make a huge difference. Don’t ever go w/o an Eagle Creek bag."
