All Eagle Creek products are backed by our No Matter What® Warranty. From day one, Eagle Creek has been committed to building durable travel gear that lasts.

Our No Matter What® Warranty is extended to the original owner of the item and covers defects of functional aspects of the product for the life of your gear. No matter what happens to your Eagle Creek travel gear along the way, we are here to get you back to your next adventure as soon as possible. Eagle Creek will repair or replace a defective product that is covered by this warranty.

This Warranty Covers

Defects in materials and workmanship, including the following components:

  • Wheels are covered by Eagle Creek's lifetime warranty

  • Zippers are covered by Eagle Creek's lifetime warranty

This Warranty Does Not Cover

Our warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship – not normal aging, misuse, or neglect, as follows:

  • Replacement after item is at the end of its life.
  • Replacement of any non-defective parts.
  • Cosmetic damage – including but not limited to scratches, dings, dents, scuffs, stains, color changes, fabric discoloration, or other non-functional changes in the appearance of the product that occur during normal handling.
  • Damage determined by Eagle Creek to be due to intentional abuse, modification, tampering, and/or alteration beyond what could be considered normal handling and use.
  • Technological obsolescence.
  • Damage of contents or replacement of lost or stolen gear and/or its contents.
  • Eagle Creek gear that is no longer in the original owner’s possession.
  • Products purchased from unauthorized sellers.

If a covered defect occurs within the product’s lifetime, we’ll repair the item or provide a credit toward replacement. The lifetime of the product is the period during which the item can reasonably be expected to remain in usable condition, with proper care, for its intended purpose. It is not based on the owner’s lifetime.

All products naturally wear out over time. The lifetime of a product ends when:

  • Materials have broken down due to age.
  • Zippers, handles, or wheels have worn out from repeated use rather than from a defect.
  • Stitching has weakened from stress or friction.
  • Cosmetic damage – does not affect function and is expected with use.
  • Loss of performance due to long-term exposure to the elements or storage conditions.
  • Intentional abuse, modification, tampering, and/or alteration beyond what could be considered normal handling and use.

Purchasers of Products who wish to make a warranty claim based upon a Product defect should submit a claim through the Warranty Request Form below.

  • You may be asked to provide proof of purchase.
  • You are responsible for shipping fees to get your gear to Eagle Creek Authorized Repair Centers. Please use a courier with tracking. Eagle Creek will cover cost of materials and labor to repair your product and return shipping charges within the country where the Repair Center is located.

In lieu of shipping your bag to a Repair Center, we offer DIY repair kits to help save time and money. Common repairs that can be done at home include some wheel replacements, broken buckles, folding boards, and other miscellaneous parts. If you’re looking for a spare part, check out our parts page here, or submit a warranty claim and we’ll determine if your item is at-home repairable.

  • For the United States only: Because Eagle Creek cannot control the quality of products sold by unauthorized sellers, this warranty applies only to Products that were purchased from Eagle Creek or an Eagle Creek authorized seller in the United States, unless otherwise prohibited by law. Eagle Creek reserves the right to reject warranty claims for Products purchased from unauthorized sellers, including unauthorized Internet sites.
  • If you have any questions regarding whether a seller is an authorized seller of our products, please contact us.
  • There are no warranties which extend beyond those stated herein. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES THAT MAY BE APPLICABLE TO PRODUCTS, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE DURATION OF THIS WARRANTY. Some States do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
  • UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL EAGLE CREEK BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES BASED UPON BREACH OF THIS WARRANTY, BREACH OF CONTRACT OR STRICT LIABILITY. Some States do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
  • This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from State to State.

Eagle Creek Authorized Repair Centers

Eagle Creek partners with eleven locally owned shops around the country that specialize in product repair. When submitting a warranty claim, you will be asked to select the location that is most convenient for you. Once we review your claim, our team will provide all necessary details, including an authorization for repair.

  • You are responsible for shipping fees to get your gear to Eagle Creek Authorized Repair Centers. Please use a courier with tracking. Eagle Creek will cover the cost of materials and labor to repair your product and return shipping charges within the country where the Repair Center is located.
  • If you insist on using an unauthorized repair center, they will likely charge a fee that is not reimbursable by Eagle Creek. Using an unauthorized repair center to repair an item covered by the Eagle Creek No Matter What Warranty voids the warranty.

Warranty Service FAQ

Cosmetic Damage: Scratches, dents, dings, scuffs, stains, color changes, normal wear and tear (including inner fabric), technological obsolescence, or other non-functional changes in the appearance of the product that occur during normal handling and use of luggage by any party and which do not impair the functionality of the product as luggage.

Replacement of any non-defective parts in the luggage.

Damage determined by us to be due to intentional abuse, modification, tampering, and/or alteration beyond what could be considered normal handling and use.

Replacement after bags are at the end of their life.

  • Parts & labor: Eagle Creek will pay for parts and labor for the repair of your item if it qualifies for our warranty.
  • Shipping to the repair center: Customers pay for shipping to the Repair Center. Remember to include the Warranty Form.
  • Shipping from the repair center: Eagle Creek will pay shipping to send your item back to you after it's been repaired.

In the event that your item cannot be repaired and it qualifies for our Warranty, we will offer you a credit toward replacement.

We cannot guarantee exact replacement of limited edition, discontinued, or out-of-stock items. We make replacement decisions at our discretion and reserve the right to decline a warranty claim.

Bags only last so long—we do not replace bags that have lived out their life in full. Please recognize that we have done our best to build bags that are durable and will last. Our Warranty Repair Manager will be responsible for assessing bags that have reached this point. If you feel like you haven’t gotten a fair deal, please give us a call.

Repairs can take 3-8 weeks to complete. Contact the Repair Center directly for updates.

Eagle Creek’s No Matter What® Warranty is not applicable in countries where Eagle Creek products are not sold.

If you live outside of the regions shown above, please contact the US Eagle Creek customer service team. Eagle Creek can still assist you in getting your gear repaired. We are happy to ship Eagle Creek parts to you. Some repairs may require working with a local luggage repair facility to complete the repair work needed. The international shipping cost for repair parts is to be paid by the customer however, there is no cost for the replacement parts themselves.

Eagle Creek is not responsible for any repair process fees. Eagle Creek cannot guarantee repair satisfaction with any business unaffiliated with Eagle Creek.
