The velocity collection has been the perfect set for my travel needs with variable sizing for different trips and needs. I enjoy the comfort pull handles and the convenience of a top and bottom handle for maneuvering over head compartments. Overall sturdy construction and material for an international traveler. My only complaint is the rigid shoulder strap on my tote bag is uncomfortable to carry. I only travel with packing cubes now and I don't want to think about the disorganization of traveling without them!

My Eagle Creek 22 Upright and I are about to finally land our feet (and wheels) in Asia. We have been in America, Europe, Africa and Australia... so the only one still missing is Asia. Luckly we will be together next June landing in Malaysia. This is the best investment I have ever made, especially considering my trips are 3 to 5 days long, the size of the EC is simply perfect. Traveling with style? Choose this one!!!

Fantastic durable, dependable luggage which will never wear out and which will serve you no matter how tough the conditions.

In the past, I usually checked a bag, but that started to change when airlines starting charging fees. I decided to try going carry-on only and purchased this bag thinking the right luggage would make it easier. I chose the right bag for sure. The quality in the bag is so much better than the cheap department store renditions I had always used in the past. It never ceases to amaze me how much I can cram into this bag using the Pack-It organizers. Just have to avoid bringing too many pairs of shoes. At first, I didn't like the exterior pocket design much thinking it was too narrow. I quickly discovered that it is designed that way to allow the bag to fit into a standard 22" overhead. If you try and overstuff the outer pocket it won't fit. You just have to learn how to pack this bag by stuffing things into those molded corners. Been on a about a dozen trips with it now and still working and looking great. I'm now an Eagle Creek devotee and won't buy anything else.

I had the good fortune of encountering this bag on line just when its color "Sienna" had gone out of production, and as a result, I was able to get it at about 60% of list as a Discontinued Product.
It is FABULOUS! The packing "cube" concept is a great way to keep your shirt from wrinkling, and the double hanger loops on the suit protector make it easy to take the suit protector out of the suitcase, to hang it on anything, and to use regular (rather than special suitcase) hangers.
The discontinued color is to die for! It provides an attitude to this suitcase, as well as distinction from the typical navy or black standard looks. If you look at the "multiple photos" of this, they still have it shown in the sienna-and-gray color scheme, even though this suitcase no longer comes in this color.
The pull handle is particularly handy - you can fully extent and fully retract it with just one hand - helpful when getting onto a plane with the other hand full. In addition, the pull handle is long enough to allow me, at my 6'1" height, to pull it without stooping.
My ONLY concern was when I put it into the aircraft overhead for the first time - I could not make it fit without turning it sideways.... BUT that was my mistake. As long as you put it in with wheels toward you and on the bottom, it fits perfectly (this is opposite of how my previous bag fit, so took me a trip or two to figure it out).
In all, an excellent rollaboard, regardless of color. But I must admit, I am so taken with its appearance that I am now purchasing the Convertbile briefcase in that same color for everyday use!

I am a consultant that is required to travel all over North America. For Christmas I asked for some new luggage. My parents recommended Eagle Creek as they used Eagle Creek to go to New Zealand and back.
So I got my luggage and have been very impressed with all the pockets and the fact it just keeps taking more and more stuff.
But what made me get on the computer and write this review was the fact that when I left home today I put some golf shirts in the Pack-It folder. When I was putting them in I noted that they were very wrinkled and I should iron them before wearing. I did not have time so I figured I would do it at the hotel.
To my surprise when I opened the Pack-It folder at my destination the wrinkles were gone !! I had packed them really nice and tight and the wrinkles have been squeezed out!.. no iron required
Keep up the good work and I will continue to add to my Eagle Creek collection.

I love this luggage piece. Thank you for finally making a line of luggage I can sink my professional teeth into. I have traditional been a Tumi or Samsonite customer but after my experience with my Wheeled Tote bag, I am a Eagle Creeker for life. I would recommend Eagle Creek to anyone. And best of all, all Velocity products come with a "No matter what" guarantee which means if anything happens to it it is NEVER my fault. Now that is what I am talking about.

This is the best luggage I’ve ever owned. I bought it because it looked great, but I am even more impressed with the attention to details. It starts out really lightweight but is so durable – looks brand new after several multi-leg airline trips. Most of all, it is so unique looking that it’s easy to find in the sea of black boxes coming off the conveyer belt. I’ve been asked twice already where I bought it!

Just got back from a quick busines trip with my new Eagle Creek upright. I love this bag! I really appreciate how light it is. It packs really well, too. The soft construction is perfect for stowing in the overhead. Just wish it had a laptop sleeve.
