I discovered Eagle Creek over thirty years ago when shopping for a low-cost light canvas day pack in LA. I still own and use that pack today; while faded from years of adventures, it otherwise is in surprisingly good shape.
My second EC product is a Traveler's bag that I bought several years ago. I especially like the variety of pockets to help organize things, and the fact I already own my iPad bag. Now I just need the iPad lol.

I've been looking for a long time for a bag that has the right dimensions to carry standard size file folders, magazines, day planner, plus all the travel needs. this bag is it. it turned out to be big enough to carry all that plus a book and a digital SLR camera with two zoom lenses and my sunglasses. All this without being too bulky. My only gripe is that the shoulder pad should have some sort of suede leather or non-slip rubberized fabric to keep it from slipping off. I like the bag well enough that I will probably have it customized.

I bought this a year ago and although it seemed a tad expensive in the UK (£60) it has been nigh on essential. I bought it to carry a mini laptop notebook for work, and also numerous other items when traveling. I can fit everything I need in this including a portable printer (Canon IP90) and external drives etc. For this reason I now think it was money well spent and is so much better designed than the laptop bag I used before.

I bought this bag 2 months ago as a daily use bag and I am happy with the bag itself, but not very happy with the strap. I find that the length of the strap changes with use from the strap material slipping through the adjusting buckles on the sides. The pad material doesn't stay on the shoulder either, particularly on smooth fabrics and leather. Because of these faults it's best to carry this bag "cross body" style. If it didn't slip so much, I'd be happier with this bag.

I'd looked long and hard for a bag with this capacity. I carry a lot of stuff (Dell mini netbook, cell phone, small toolkit, portable office, wallet and checkbook and card folder and other things); everything fits and is easy to reach when needed. I'm planning to get a Totes super-portable umbrella for the water-bottle compartment. I am absolutely satisfied with this bag and I certainly plan to search for Eagle Creek merchandise in the future.

I am extremely pleased with the Vagabond Shoulder Bag. It functions as my everyday bag. I love the EC design and sturdy fabric. It works! It is highly functional - function is form and beauty. Sized perfectly for 12 in laptop and papers and folders. This makes sense! Wide enough to carry a lot of stuff. Small enough not to be bulky. Great shoulder strap. Great top-loading zipper. as well as front flap with amazing, well thought-out usable inside features as well as back zippered compartment. I love the side mesh bottle pocket - I use it for my water bottle as well as coffee mug. (Cell phone pocket makes lot of sense tho i don't use it, maybe i'll start. Front velcro flap makes sense and i use it, tho i would prefer if it were also a zippered compartment.) Bottom line- I love this bag! Thanks!!
