I love my Backpack! I studied abroad with my zipped together duo. It was so nice to get off the bus, unzip the little one for the day, while leaving the other behind. This backpack has lasted through 4 years of adventure - going strong!

I did my first backpacker's trip at 50 and whent to Thaïland for a month. It was such an experience and I liked it so much that I am sure I will do it again. My backpack was smaller than the others I saw on the road, it was easy to use and quick to find my things in, because of the opening in front. And what to tell abouth the day pack... I like it so much that I wont do an other trip without it even if it's a week in an all inclusive.

Read the reviews and purchased an Explorer
LT-Women's Fit. Went to Montreal and decided to try the carry on. It was great. Used the cubes and the compression bags and I don't think it would have worked with out them. Took it to Calgary also and worked even better as I am getting into my stride with it. Don't know where I will go next but I will keep you all informed of how it works. By the way, went to Montreal for a week and did not wear all the clothes I took!

My girlfriend and I each purchased an Explorer pack for our 7-month round-the-world trip and these bags were perfect for our travels. Combined with cubes, everything stayed organized and they protected our stuff through 13 countries.

Based on magazine reviews, we almost got the Switchback which is a similar size bag but with wheels. We're SO HAPPY we went without wheels. We were very mobile, rode buses, boats, animals and planes and stayed in budget hotels and guesthouses. It's very rare you find a nice surface to roll your bag a long and in exchange you give up precious storage space and carry several extra pounds every day.

This compact-ish pack kept us from bringing the kitchen sink like many people we met and we were much happier for not carrying all of that crap (plus we could carry on!)

My day pack was stolen in Costa Rica from a bus unfortunately along with my laptop, ipod and passport so I'll be looking to replace it but I hope the Explorer pack stays with me for a long time!

I am an Eagle Creek person, period! One day a week is dedicated to urban adventure in San Diego. I ride the Coaster to the downtown area, hop on a trolley to Mexico, take a ferry to Coronado, a bus to Balboa Park...etc...I explore..... I am literally on my feet all day, hours at a time. I experimented with many packs before choosing the "Boundary." The weight rests on my hips, and my shoulders do not ache, either that day or the days after. My back is ventilated all day resulting in my comfort. I own 3 Boundaries, and fill them with cubes of various sizes.
Looped through the belt of my pack is an Eagle Creek wallet. I keep a credit card, cash, and train tickets in front, for ease and accessibility. This system of "wallet in the front," at waist level, allows me to keep the pack on all day.
I am a female baby boomer in my late fifties. With this system, I don't come home crippled after each trip. It is in fact, this system, that allows me to be as active as I am on a continuing basis.
During the rest of the week, I load my laptop and camera equipment, plus padded cubes with MP3 and tape recorder, into my Switchback 22. I wheel it discretely, into restaurants in North San Diego County, and do my work from this system, drinking tea, gazing at the ocean, watching pelicans soaring overhead, having all of my equipment at my fingertips.
If I need to photograph something, I load my camera gear into my Eagle Creek Camera bag, and head outdoors.
Everything is light...and looks good!
I lift all, easily, into my car. We boomers at middle age, love and appreciate your products.
I carry something of Eagle Creek with me at all times. Even my purse is organized with cubes. And for serious adventure, well, I have the women's Explorer.
I value your products, have seriously tested them on myself, and I am touched by your integrity to your customers.
Lastly, I grew up in New York, (the city), and am part of a manufactoring/designing family. I have had access to a wealth of products since childhood, a universe of products. I have chosen Eagle Creek for myself, and this is the best endorsement that I can offer you. Thank you for positively affecting my life..

Excellent. Traveled all over Asia. Never had a problem. Sailed for several months and held up to saltwater and sun exposure really well. I LOVE THIS BAG!

My family and I just returned from a 5 month backpacking trip to Africa, the middle east and Europe, and your equipment was used throughout the trip. I just want to let you know that your packs are well thought out and are the best we have seen and used!! On many occasions the packs were exposed to very harsh use and the trip through Africa stretched all our equipment to the limit. From Lake Victoria to Kilimanjaro, from Zanzibar to the Nubian Desert, from Alexandria to Goreme and beyond, non of your packs failed at any time and I would recommend your equipment to all travellers. Our next trip is already being planned and Eagle Creek will be there with us.

Why is this your favorite product?
It's lightweight, great quality and looks good. Finding a comfortable pack has always been a problem for me (I'm short and don't have a torso). The adjustable hip belt fixes that problem. This pack is great for weekend trips but big enough for longer trips. The detachable daypack is a bonus.
